The aluminum chassis provides excellent rigidity to the whole, while the stabilized mechanism ensures smooth and quiet playback, far superior to that of vintage players still in circulation.

When listening, the CP13 reproduces that warm and slightly textured signature characteristic of magnetic tape: full mids, an intimate soundstage, and an overall smoothness that enhances both voices and acoustic recordings.

Technical details & operation

The FiiO CP13 relies on an electronically controlled speed motor, ensuring good reading stability.

The 3.5 mm output provides power for lightweight headphones and portable earphones, while the internal 1800 mAh battery offers comfortable battery life for regular use.

The player is compatible with Type I and Type II cassettes, and recharges easily via USB-C, without batteries or special accessories.
