Hello, we are Audio Garden!
Our goal? To offer you the best in hi-fi, but in a second life. Why? Because in addition to being just as high-performing, these products are both more affordable and eco-friendly – and yes, their first life cycle has already been amortized.
Whether you're looking for speakers, an amplifier, a DAC, a turntable, a portable music player, or even cables, our team offers a selection of top brands at the best prices. Products are carefully selected, tested, verified, refurbished, and sometimes even... brand new – but always at reduced prices!

Hi-Fi in a second life
What is hi-fi in a second life?
Second-hand hi-fi encompasses all used, refurbished, or clearance products. This is quality audio equipment, performing as well as its new equivalent, sold at reduced prices, thus extending its lifespan.
What is the difference between a new hi-fi device and a second-life model?
The main difference is the price! A refurbished speaker, DAC, or amplifier costs up to 80% less than its new equivalent. The cosmetic condition may also vary depending on the wear and tear, but in the vast majority of cases, the differences are minimal. As for performance, it remains unchanged!
Why buy second-hand hi-fi equipment?
In short, three reasons:
- A second-hand hi-fi product has less impact on the planet than a new one.
- A second-hand hi-fi product performs just as well as a new one.
- A second-hand hi-fi product is cheaper than a new one.
And for good reason, even though hi-fi equipment has a much longer lifespan than other electronic accessories such as smartphones or computers, their lifecycle is still even shorter…
However, compared to a new device, a refurbished model avoids the waste of 90% of raw materials and 90% of water, while reducing the amount of electronic waste and carbon emissions in our environment by the same amount.
Thanks to the refurbished devices available on Audio Garden, you can choose a less impactful alternative for the planet, without sacrificing enjoyment.
In 90% of cases, our clearance or refurbished products come from France! These may be unsold items from a brand, customer returns from a retailer or distributor, or even second-hand products purchased from individuals.
The only thing they have in common is that all these devices perform just as well as their new counterparts, while being (much) more affordable!
What is the difference between a clearance, second-hand and refurbished product?
Although Audiogarden.fr only offers second-hand products, they are indeed classified into three categories:
• Clearance : new products from surplus or old collections that the brand does not wish (or can no longer) continue.
Example: an amplifier that is replaced by a new version
• Refurbished : Used products, restored to like-new condition after inspection and repair if necessary. They offer performance similar to the new model, but may show signs of wear due to their previous use.
Example: a DAC that has been returned by a customer within the withdrawal period, but which therefore can no longer be sold as new.
• Second-hand : products that have already been used but are in good condition. Generally, these are display models or customer trade-ins taken back by stores when a new or superior model is purchased.
Example: floorstanding speakers left by a customer at a retailer, in exchange for the purchase of a pair of bookshelf speakers (often almost new)
Where do our second-life products come from?
In the vast majority of cases (90%), our products come from French retailers or distributors. This proximity allows us to limit our impact—reducing transportation—while ensuring better order tracking thanks to our close relationships with their teams.
And the remaining 10%? This could include the brands themselves (end of series for example), products obtained from other retailers, or even individuals wishing to renew their equipment!
Is the equipment sold tested before shipping?
Yes, every used/refurbished product is tested by our team and our partners before being listed on our website. If necessary, they are then refurbished to guarantee optimal performance (replacement of certain components, or updating of accessories).
What if I want to order a new product?
As mentioned, Audio Garden specializes in refurbished hi-fi equipment. However, our team can also offer you new models from the current catalogs of our brands/suppliers.
Please allow a slightly longer delivery time - it takes us time to order it - and then we will be able to deliver it to you.
Warranty and second life
What is the warranty on our products?
Whether they are clearance, second-hand, or refurbished, all our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity. This guarantee lasts for 24 months from the date of purchase, except where otherwise stated. You can learn more in the dedicated section of our Terms and Conditions (by clicking here)!
Can I return a product, even if it's second-hand?
Whether clearance, new or used, a product bought second-hand benefits from the same withdrawal conditions as a new product.
Once you receive your order, you have 15 days to return it if you are not entirely satisfied. Simply request a refund!
The only exception: personalized products!
What if I prefer an exchange, or a credit note?
That's also possible! If you prefer a credit on a future order or an exchange for another product, it's very simple: just indicate this in your return request and our team will take care of it upon receipt of your return.
What should I do if my product breaks down?
Has your device stopped working? Don't panic, these things happen!
If this is the case, contact our team by email, chat or via our contact form and we will carry out an online diagnosis together, before scheduling - if necessary - a return of the product to our workshops.
Our technicians will then take over to repair it and give it a new life, without any hassle this time.
As a reminder: all our products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, as well as against hidden defects - for 2 years!
What if the breakdown occurs after 2 years?
Has your hi-fi equipment stopped working after the 2-year warranty period?
As before, contact our team by email, chat or via our contact form and we will carry out an online diagnosis together, before scheduling - if necessary - a return of the product to our workshops.
Our technicians will then take over, in order to draw up a repair quote and give it a new life, without any hassle this time.
Order and delivery
I have chosen my product(s), how do I order?
To finalize your purchase, nothing could be simpler:
- Click the “add to cart” button
- A sidebar will appear, allowing you to check your order and quantities.
- Click the “payment” button at the bottom of the page to be redirected to the payment page.
- Next, fill in your delivery information and then choose your preferred payment method.
Once payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. All you have to do is wait for delivery!
What payment methods do you offer?
Regarding payments, we offer several solutions:
- Credit card, directly on our site via Stripe
- via PayPal, the leader in online payments
- payment in 3 or 4 installments by bank card
- bank transfer
- Audiogarden.fr gift card and/or voucher
All our prices are shown in euros including VAT (all taxes included).

I've paid for my order, now what?
Congratulations on your choice, we're sure it's the right one! Now that your order has been validated, it's up to our team to take over.
In the next few hours, you will receive a message indicating that your order is being prepared, which means that we will test your device (excluding clearance products) before packaging it for shipment!
Once packaged, your product will then be taken care of by one of our carriers, who will ensure it is delivered safely!
Good to know: except in the case of a bank transfer, your order will be processed upon receipt of your payment, which may take several days.
How can I track my order?
To track your order, you have two options:
- either via your customer account, in the “orders” tab; there you will find all the information such as the order date, the amount and your tracking number,
- either via the link received by email when your order is shipped, which contains your package tracking number!
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
As mentioned previously, once your order is validated, we proceed in two steps:
- The preparation of your order, including handling, testing and verification of the equipment, and then its packaging. This entire process generally takes 24 hours, except in special cases such as bulky products (electrostatic panels or home cinema amplifiers, for example).
- The shipping process itself includes collection by the carrier, transit to their sorting centers, and then delivery by one of their couriers to the delivery address you provided. This process typically takes 48 to 72 hours, except for express or custom shipments.
In short, for standard delivery, you can generally expect to receive your product(s) within 2 to 4 days (indicative) after order confirmation.
What are the delivery options?
Our team delivers throughout Europe, via local carriers (La Poste or equivalent) as well as via private carriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx,…).
We generally choose the most suitable carrier for your order and prioritize delivery with signature confirmation. Please note that all our packages are insured, so if any problems should arise – which we hope never happens – please don't hesitate to report them and then contact us!

How much are the delivery charges?
Good news, in most cases delivery is free: once the minimum purchase amount is reached (€129) you will not have to pay any delivery fees!
Please note: this only applies to our standard deliveries. For express delivery or oversized packages, additional charges may apply. More information is available on our dedicated page!
Can I have my order delivered outside of Metropolitan France?
Audiogarden.fr delivers throughout France (including overseas territories) for the majority of products.
Outside of France, we deliver throughout Europe and Switzerland – and outside Europe upon request. Please note that depending on the products ordered, additional handling and delivery charges may apply!

How can I create an account?
Creating an account on Audiogarden.fr couldn't be simpler!
- Simply click on the “account” button in the top right corner
- Once this is done, a new page will appear asking you to enter your email address and password.
- Once you have filled it out, you will be able to directly access your newly created customer account!
Good to know: you can also create the account at the time of payment, or even… not create an account at all!

Can I place an order… without creating an account?
Creating an order without an account? It's perfectly possible! During checkout, simply choose to order as a "guest".
Once this is done, you will then have the option of only entering your billing/delivery addresses, without even having to enter an email address - but a telephone number will still be required for delivery.
How can I change my email address / password?
Through your customer account, you have the option to easily change your email address or password.
Password: simply click on the “account” button, then in the “password” section, choose to create a new password.
Email address: To change the email address associated with your account, contact our team via the contact form or by email. We will then update the email address on your account!
I forgot my password, how can I recover it?
Don't panic, it happens even to the best of us!
To recover your password:
- Click on the “account” button in the top right corner,
- then choose “forgotten password”
A new password will then be sent to you!
